There have been many attempts to replicate the experience of reading a real, tangible book on a screen. There is Google Books, of course, and this somewhat unconvincing page-flipping simulation. There is also Project Gutenberg, the vast online archive of public domain e-books, and, you know, the Kindle. But here's the best version I've seen.
